Edgar Duguay - "The Bluegrass Hour"
Edgar Duguay (pronounced “Dew-Gay”)- AKA “The Old Silver Fox”
The Bluegrass Hour is 60-minutes of music from near and afar and airs on CHRQ radio 106.9 FM, in Listuguj Quebec, Canada.
Listuguj (Restigouche) is situated just across the inter-provincial bridge from Campbellton, New Brunswick, (my home town).
The province of New Brunswick Canada borders are; Quebec to the north, Maine USA to the west, Nova Scotia to the south and the Atlantic ocean to the east and linked to Prince Edward Island with the12.9-kilometre (8 mi) Confederation bridge which opened on May 31, 1997.
The Bluegrass Hour debuted at 3pm Saturday January 1995, remaining at that time-slot for a short period of time. It then moved to 10am Saturday morning and has been there for the past two decades or more.
The program is recorded at my leisure time at home and delivered to the station on a thumb drive.
"The Bluegrass Hour" can be heard here on Bell Buckle Radio,
10:00AM-11:00AM Central, Thursdays.
